Big D and Bubba

5am - 10am Monday-Saturday

When you're sitting in the car wondering if the person in the next car over in traffic thinks that you've lost your mind because you are seemingly laughing hysterically to yourself, or sitting in the parking lot at your destination waiting for us to finish a topic, silly phone call, interview, game or conversation...We are right there with you. And with you all the way. We know how crazy life can be....and we want to be your goofy, chubby, best radio-friend refuge from the harsh reality of being pulled 100 different directions by your spouse, kids, boss, coworkers, etc.

John D. Green

3pm-7pm Monday-Friday

Well, it all started many… scratch that… not so many years ago in the swamps of the Southwest (Okay, so it was a desert).  After showing an aversion to doing real work  I started “working” weekends at the local radio station.  After making several stops along the way I landed in the Mid-Ohio Valley in the summer of 2002. Join me for the drive home every weekday afternoon here on Froggy 99!"

Radio Lia

7pm - 12m Weekdays

I’m Lia. The host. The Facilitator. The sticky substance that holds the stories together with the songs. I’m the gal who can’t for the life of me keep a secret yet everyone seems to tell me their secrets anyway. I love my job. I’m happily married to the luckiest guy on earth, Chad. I have 4 kids. All of them smart, spoiled and love country music. In my spare time I play word games, mind games and lock myself in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace at least once a day.  Here’s a secret about me:  I never talk on the phone when I’m not at work.  That could be because I do it every night for hours.  My sisters complain constantly about me never calling them back.  Even my husband occasionally goes to voice mail.

Ted Hopper

10am - 3pm Monday-Friday

Froggy 99’s Ted Hopper, known to many in the country music industry, is a country radio legend.  Ted has been in the biz since… Well, we’ll just say long enough.  He’s a member of the Country Radio Hall of Fame and has programmed some of the biggest and most influential country radio stations in America, including 61 Country in Kansas City, WMAQ in Chicago and the home of the Grand Ole Opry, WSM, Nashville.  We’re very happy to have Ted living here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and as part of the Froggy family.  Ted’s the perfect guy to host Froggy’s Country Gold Saturday Night every Saturday evening from 7-10. Country music fans have been asking for it and we’re going to give it to them!  Our listeners have been telling us that they miss that great old country from legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn.  So every Saturday night from 7-10 pm, we’ll reach back into the deep, dark, dusty files and play some of country music’s best from the past 50 years!
